I love finding out more about things. I always have. I find it hard to go for a walk without asking questions.
Why does that plant grow there? What’s that bird doing? You get the picture!

I really enjoy research and finding answers to questions.

My curiosity led me to study Biology, first at York, then at Oxford University for my Ph.D.

I’ve worked since in a variety of roles to share understanding and communicate medical and scientific knowledge and advances for people of all ages.

I also enjoy drawing and communicating visually. In my 40s I took myself to art school and
re-trained as an illustrator.

I now love the challenge of explaining complex subjects with just the right number of words and in a visually engaging way to inspire, educate and entertain audiences whatever their age.
